What is it about human beings that they give themselves permission to abuse others, especially women and children in ways too horrible to contemplate, and cloak it in tradition or religion or way of life.
At the moment an e-mail is circulating that makes very disturbing reading, and current news events about women being stoned makes very disturbing watching.
This treatment of women and children is an outrage and I wish for the activists to win over this totally appalling and barbaric behaviour.
