What an octopus and what a success story for South Africa! Update

Congratulations to Spain with those fabulous uniforms even if the game was filled with yellow cards, a red card, and lots of falling down and clutching of body parts :) And congratulations to the octopus for correctly predicting the winners of all the matches, including the final one.

And what a fantastic World Cup in South Africa!  It went off without any major dramas, and with just a few minor ones perpetrated interestingly by visitors, not by locals and not because the country is a horror.

Massive applause to South Africa and South Africans for pulling off this historic event. 

And now that the 2010 World Cup is over, what ever will we watch, talk about, make noise about except to continue with the spirit created by the event and the unity that came with it. South Africa we showed the world  .......
