Rely Upon Unseen Forces by David Neagle

I’ve been talking to you over the past few months about ways to facilitate your quantum leap. Today I’m giving you another key. When you’re going for the thing you want to manifest in your life, it is imperative that you place your faith and trust in unseen forces.

You can call your unseen forces: God, spirit, energy ... whatever you want. Its name does not matter. What matters is that this force can orchestrate resources much more grandly than you can.

As Price Pritchett writes in You2, “Forget the idea that you should be able to see tangibly and in full view all the resources necessary to leverage your performance so dramatically. There are resources you can access that cannot be seen, and they’re far greater and more powerful than the resources that you might readily observe.”

Listen, no one achieves his or her full potential through struggle.

Are you hearing me?

Trying as hard as you can will never take you as far as you’re capable of going.

In order to grow and reach your full potential, you must take advantage of the support systems you cannot see. They have the broader vision ~ and the power ~ to urge you farther than you could ever go on your own.

How Do They Work?

The unseen forces operate through your subconscious mind, mental imagery, intuition, serendipity. As Pritchett writes, “You might be hit with a flash of inspiration during a moment of solitude. A creative solution to a problem may come to you in a dream. A breakthrough idea can flash through your mind while you’re visualizing your goal. Somehow, the resources you need just seem to appear by coincidence.”

To activate the help of the unseen forces, all you have to do is let them in and hold a vivid picture of what you want in your mind. Stay utterly focused upon your vision.

If you can do that with every fiber of your being, instantly and automatically your world will begin to change. Most people find it astounding how fast it actually changes.

Let me tell you a story about a woman I know who was stuck for a decade about a desire to turn a novel she’d written into a screenplay. She judged her desire as far-fetched and questioned why she wanted it. One day, it all came to a head at a publishing convention where she was arguing with herself about whether to go to a panel on taking books to film. It was just a panel, but part of her would not even let her go. Finally, after a lot of internal back and forth, she said, “Dammit, I want to go to the panel! I’m going to the panel!”

She had 40 minutes before it started and turned toward a woman, who had sat down nearby, her badge flipped over to hide her name.

They got to talking. Long story short, her seatmate turned out to be a top independent film agent in Hollywood. Not only that, she was on the panel.

Isolated incident? Not on your life. That’s how the unseen forces operate. If you give your desire the respect it deserves, the best resource you could ever hope for, could sit down right next to you.

One Important Caveat: As you are choosing your goal, make sure that you are truly inspired by it, that your choice isn’t coming from fear.

A lot of people pick monetary goals that are fear-based. If yours is a money goal, be certain that it springs from true wanting. Also, don’t shy away from what you want because you judge it in some way. Your vision should touch and inspire you. Remember, it is the spark of the divine within you. Let it burn brightly. Your clear, burning vision is your rallying cry to the cosmos. It tells the unseen forces that you are ready and willing.

And, when you are truly ready, the unseen forces will dazzle you with their impact. You can count on it.

The Mone^y is Already Here! By Suzanne Evans

I know the biggest objection I hear from people working with me is, "I would love to, but I don't have the money". AND I know it is the biggest struggle you have when landing clients, as well. Out of all the objections for people to get the help, support, coaching, or healing they need, money is the biggest. I have spent years working on this and finding ways to coach people into reality. The reality is two things:

1) We always have the money to do the things we REALLY want to do.
2) You always get exactly what you need when you need it.

If you believe Universal Truths of Abundance you will know the money is always there. Now, I do know some people do not know where to look for the money and that is where I have put in a lot of time energy and research. I thought it would be very helpful to share this with you for two reasons:

First, you might be telling yourself you can't get the support you need because YOU don't have the money. Maybe this will help.

Secondly, it will help you in speaking to clients who say they don't have the money.

So, here we go - 10 ways to get the money you need every time!

1) Business Loan. There are many small lending institutions (especially locally owned banks) that want to help finance small business as the entrepreneur is doing well in this economy.

2) "Business Loan." This is what I call a job or part time job. I think if you TRULY believe in your dream then you must do whatever necessary to realize that dream. A stream of income will help you go from NEEDING clients to wanting clients. And do not look at it as a job - it is a business loan to fuel your start up.

3) 401ks and other investments. Your accountant will probably tell you this is a horrible idea, but I am very grateful I used some of mine as seed money. That money grew into a 7-figure business. I had actually lost quite a bit of it with the craziness in the market and so I became very aware the best investment I could make was an investment in ME. There are even ways to roll the funds into your business with NO penalties.

4) Low interest credit cards. We have a really messed up view of credit in this country. Debt has been made to seem evil (I could go on for days about this), but good debt is a very useful tool. Good debt is debt you incur to finance a project or dream and you have a plan to pay it back. You are using it to learn, grow, and develop to bring in revenue from your business. No one really blinks at student loan debt, but we all get nuts when we, say, put a program or mentor on a credit card. What's the difference? There isn't - at all! One has just been conditioned by society to be okay.

5) Got junk? I have had students (actually right now) finance their dreams by selling gold an ex-husband gave them, putting cool stuff on ebay, or selling a car they no longer wanted or needed. My friend and mentor, David Neagle, first financed his dream by selling a boat. I spent a year selling yard sale finds on ebay to pay for a vacation AND my coaches. See how creative you can get?

6) Start NOW! Many of you are waiting to have everything perfect or in place to get clients and make money. I guarantee you know enough now to start working with people. Maybe you will have an introductory rate or special for the first 5 clients you work with, but there is no need to wait. You can start making money now!

7) Friends and Family. Many times friends and family are happy to help and will charge you a much lower interest or no interest. Richard Branson has made this very easy with www.virginmoney.com He has created a program that helps friends and family create loans and have tracking, accountability, and make them professional and organized. He calls them social loans.

8) Make a change. Look at your full budget and spending - I have never seen one person or family that didn't have something they could tweak to find money for their business. Is there a tweak that could be made to your daily spending? Hobby spending? Where is there waste in your weekly budget? It can be amazing how easy it is to find $100 or more a week with small changes.

9) Apply for a home equity line of credit. Some banks offer home equity lines of credit that let you borrow up to as much as 85% of the appraised value of your home. Depending on the value of your home and what you still owe in other mortgages, that can put a significant chunk of money at your disposal for starting your business. The downside: you're putting your home at risk. This is not an option for everyone, but it is a great option for some. Always understand your risk and all the details.

10) Make the decision. You or your clients do not need the money for coaching /mentoring/support until they make the decision to get support and play a bigger game. Anything is possible when you make a decision. Many people think they have made a decision, but here are the facts. A decision is ONLY when there are no other options. There is no failure or stopping buckets to put your balls in. You do whatever it takes. And you will get the support you need to make it happen.

Quite frankly, I wish personal growth would just happen! I wish I would just get better and money would fall out of the sky. I wish my waist would get smaller even as I sit on the couch in front of a warm fire eating Breyer's Vanilla Bean ice cream. Oh, how I wish it was easy!

Okay, enough whining, enough dreaming, enough lack of reality. I have it out of my system! The reality is that it is work to grow personally. The sooner we realize that, even lovingly embrace that, the sooner we jump on the highway of success! The fact is that we "have to" do some things!

As my uncle the truck driver use to say to me when I was a kid, "Wish in one hand and spit in the other - then see which one fills first." (Remember, he was a trucker, and somebody else may have been a bit more elegant, but I still remember it today, 25 years later. I recommend however that you take it at face value. It isn't a fun experiment to actually carry out.

Without any further ado, here are the seven "have-to's" to achieve personal growth for yourself. Don't wish anymore! Get on the ball and start reaping the rewards!

1. You have to know what it is that you want. Wanting personal growth isn't enough. Do you want more money? How much? Do you want to lose weight? How much? Do you want a spouse? Who? Do you want to travel? Where? Do you want more freedom in your professional life? What would that look like? Clearly define in your mind what it is that you want! Once you do...

I had the pleasure of meeting Robin a couple of years ago at an early-morning book signing in Johannesburg, South Africa.  I had read his book, The Monk who Sold his Ferrari, and I have most of his others.  I enjoyed meeting him, and I enjoy his lessons about leadership.

Last night I watched a documentary about the rise of Green Day. They have morphed into one of the world's most popular as well as influential rock bands, selling over 65 million records, filling stadiums in cities across the world and inspiring a whole new generation of musicians.

Here are the 5 business as well as personal leadership lessons we can gather from Green Day's ascent:

#1: Every dream starts off small.
Green Day started off called Sweet Children. They played to empty halls and few gave them any chance of being successful. However, their vision was larger than their doubts and they stayed the course like the best Leaders Without Titles always do. Amazing things happen when you stay in the game longer than anyone thinks you should.

#2: They out-practiced their competition.
The original members of Green Day came from broken homes. Parents were not around much. So most of their free time they practiced. Often they would write songs all day and play guitar all night. Like all genius-level performers, relentless practice over an extended period of time births extraordinary performance.

#3: They were well grounded.
After Dookie sold over 14 million copies, the members of Green Day reached superstardom. However, rather than succumbing to the seductions of success, they remained grounded. They started their families and they remained true to their roots. This has allowed them a longevity that so many rock bands never achieve.

#4: They understood the power of renewal.
After the success of their breakthrough album Dookie, Green Day toured the world relentlessly. But then after that - at the peak of their success - they took a complete year off. They spent time with their families. They pursued other musical projects. And they refilled their well of inspiration. Rather than burning out, this period of time allowed them to come back stronger and to continue having fun at their craft.

#5: They dared to innovate.
The albums that followed their breakthrough release actually sold many less records. However, Green Day were willing to relentlessly innovate. The album they were working on before American Idiot came out was actually a mess in the sense that their master tapes were stolen. Many bands would have given up. However Green Day saw it as an opportunity to rewrite the entire album. They came up with an idea of a rock opera and released American Idiot. This became their biggest seller and 15 years after they started, they reached a whole new level of fortune.

In many ways, the whole idea behind Leading Without a Title is the democratization of leadership. Yes, positions are important to the smooth running of any organization (whether that organization is a business or a community or a family). Having said that, the new model of leadership (leadership 2.0) is all about every single stakeholder showing leadership in the work they do. This is really all about distributed leadership. Every single person who works within a business, for example, owns the responsibility of showing leadership at their craft. Every single teammate is the CEO of their own small business unit called their job.

There is a very real possibility that everything you and I have been taught about how to earn money is so far from the truth that it’s almost comical.

Earning money has nothing to do with age, formal education, gender or geography. It has nothing to do with past experience or your formal years of education or your level of intellect.

There are individuals who are functionally illiterate who have become multimillionaires, while there are others who are absolutely brilliant and they are broke. Virtually anyone can be taught how to earn millions of dollars and yet the sad truth is that 97 out of every 100 people are born, live their entire lives, and die without ever learning how to earn money. To perpetuate this ridiculous problem, their ignorance is passed along from one generation to the next.

Our school system has been designed as an environment to enlighten young minds, to replace ignorance with understanding and ultimately improve the quality of life. And though our educational system has obviously been successful in many areas, it has woefully neglected one important subject, ''How to Earn Money.''

A lack of understanding in this area is the cause of numerous unwanted and unnecessary problems, since money is the medium of exchange that is used worldwide for other people’s products and services.

The Real Source of Wealth: There has always been a small, select group, approximately 3% of our population, who clearly understand that prosperity consciousness is the primary cause of wealth and their prosperity consciousness, like ignorance, is also passed down from one generation to the next.

Let’s look at ''money.'' What is it? Money is a reward you receive for the service you render. The more valuable the service, the greater the reward. Thinking of ways we can be of greater service will not only help us earn more money, it will also enable us to grow intellectually and spiritually.

Vakhegula-Vakhegula at US Adult Soccer Assn Veteran's Cup Tournament Massachusetts

"We recently learned about a very special group of grandmothers in Limpopo, South Africa who had an amazing dream. They wanted to come to America to compete in the United States Adult Soccer Association Veteran's Cup tournament in Massachusetts.

Vakhegula-Vakhegula means 'Grannies' in the local Xitsonga dialect. The team was founded by Beka Ntsanwisi, who is known as "Mother Theresa of Limpopo." Beka saw that the women needed exercise and fun to help them have healthier lives and got them playing soccer. Now known as the "Soccer Grannies," twice a week the women, ages 49 - 84, swap domestic chores for football, donning soccer boots instead of their usual rubber sandals to play in local matches.

How to beat the world cup blues by: Dr Nikolaus Eberl

After 31 days of football fever and the highs and lows of teams either progressing to the next round or crashing out of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, how can South Africans deal with the inevitable withdrawal symptoms of missing the games, stars and visitors alike, now that the ultimate 2010 whistle has been blown?

Because of the intense emotive engagement that hosting the FIFA World Cup evokes in the people of the hosting nation, most spectators experience an experiential loss and a sense of nostalgia once the games are over. This post-event depression was so severe in Germany 2006 that the organiser of the Berlin Fan Fest committed suicide the day after, and many a German supporter had to seek professional help in dealing with acute withdrawal symptoms.

Based on my personal experience ever since the 2006 World Cup, here are the top 10 tips on how to beat the 2010 blues:

1. Make the 2010 anthem Waka Waka your new ringtone - this way, you will feel Ayoba! every time your phone rings
2. Keep flying the flag, both on the car and in the office - it will brighten your day and make for sweet memories.
3. Keep wearing the shirt, especially on Football Fridays - and the next time when Bafana enters the pitch is only a few weeks away;
4. Replay the highlights of 2010 - savour the best moments of the world cup, the opening goal by Tshabalala against Mexico, the wonder kick by Van Bronkhorst against Uruguay and the goal rush by the German machine against Maradonna and Messi;
5. Keep the habit of "public viewing" - and keep in mind that 2011 is a big sporting year: the Cricket World Cup kicks off on 19 February 2011, the Rugby World Cup will be held in New Zealand 9 September - 23 October, and the FIFA Womens' World Cup will be held in June/July next year;
6. Kick the ball - wherever you are, join your local soccer team, be it at the office, the church or even the shebeen, and start playing the beautiful game. There is little more exhilarating than the adrenaline rush when scoring the winning goal!
7. Blow the vuvuzela and don the makarapa: already the vuvuzela and makarapa have become the most popular gift items for the visiting fans and can be heard and seen all over the world. Keep expressing your love for the game!
8. Support your local team: now is the time to buy a season ticket for your local team and follow them around the country in the quest for football glory - this way you will revisit all the stadia and enjoy the true fan experience of being in the grandstand rather than sitting home alone;
9. Get ready for Banyana Banyana: chances are good that the South African women's team could win this year's African Women's Championship to be held in South Africa in October 2010 and thus qualify for the FIFA Women's World Cup 2011 in Germany. Get behind Mzansi's best women!

What an octopus and what a success story for South Africa! Update

Congratulations to Spain with those fabulous uniforms even if the game was filled with yellow cards, a red card, and lots of falling down and clutching of body parts :) And congratulations to the octopus for correctly predicting the winners of all the matches, including the final one.

And what a fantastic World Cup in South Africa!  It went off without any major dramas, and with just a few minor ones perpetrated interestingly by visitors, not by locals and not because the country is a horror.

Massive applause to South Africa and South Africans for pulling off this historic event.

Acknowledging 7/7 five years on

As before, this year we again acknowledge all those whose lives were affected by the 7/7 London Bombings, including partners, families and caregivers.

Five years on, we have learnt more about some of their ongoing pain, physical and emotional, and we extend our thoughts and love to them as they continue to find ways to heal.

No-one can know precisely how or what each of them felt.
No-one can know precisely how they survived their ordeal and how they have navigated their way through life since then.
No-one can fully relate to their pain, to their waking hours or to their sleeping hours.
But what we can do is envelop them in our thoughts, our love, and our light to make their journey a little easier, and we can use the opportunity to remember the words of Auden, "If you want to live, you'd better start at once to try".
